Yoga Class Descriptions

Level 1 and Mixed Level Classes
Recommended for all students from beginners and above.

New Day Hot Yoga Mixed Level

One of our most popular classes, New Day Hot Yoga is a series of poses performed in a heated room. This yoga is performed with synchronized deep rhythmic breathing and movement; linking traditional hatha yoga postures together. Students work at their own level in each posture and will be shown variations as needed. Prior yoga experience is not required. You’ll sweat out toxins, increase physical and mental strength, and create muscle-skeletal balance. Based on proven physiological responses of the human body to induce a state of deep quiet. Drink plenty of water the day of practice and after. Please bring your own mat, towel, and water.

New Day Yoga Level 1 & 2

Offers a truly unique yoga practice. It heals, detoxifies and exhilarates the body and mind with emphasis on movement, balance and intention. It is a dynamic, challenging program that combines strength, sweat and flexibility. Our role is to guide students to make their practice their own and their intention personal. As is often said in class, “I am only here to be your guide. You know your body best, listen to it and follow your intuition.” This class is designed for students of all levels, and modifications will be provided for each pose to allow you to get the best yoga experience regardless if you are new to your practice or have been practicing for years.

New Day Relax & Stretch

The New Day Yoga “Relax & Stretch” class is designed to help clients relax, de-stress and rejuvenate for the week ahead! This class will focus on stress relief, flexibility, aiding chronic pain, body alignment, and opening tight muscles that are common to us all, including neck and shoulder pain, back pain, hip pain, tight hamstrings even plantar fasciitis! This class is also suitable and therapeutic for people with arthritis and fibromyalgia.

New Day Yoga Blend

Take a break from your basic yoga class. Classic yoga poses incorporated with light weights to elevate your heart rate and tone your muscles. This targeted workout to upbeat music will take your mind off the burn, and the time will fly by in this sixty minute class.

New Day Hot Slow Flow Yoga

Performed in a heated room, this class moves at a slightly slower pace. Peaceful music helps to create a detoxing yet relaxing class.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle practice of yoga that utilizes a chair for sitting or standing, using the chair for support.  By incorporating a chair, yoga can be made accessible for people who cannot stand for long periods, or who have mobility issues.

Core and Cardio Express

This 30 minute class uses a hula hoop as a prop to enhance yoga, barre, and core exercises.  Hula hooping is great cardio as well as tones your core.  If you don’t like hooping, no problem, we will have other cardio moves for you.

Level 2 Classes
Suitable for intermediate and advanced students. Moderate physical challenge based on your current level of fitness.

Yoga Flow Intermediate

Yoga practiced focusing on core strength, balance and flow to build strength and stamina.
